About The Team

DAN BUCKNERFounder + Owner

Dan Buckner, a native of Cookeville, Tennessee, graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1997 with a degree in Business and Marketing.   He relocated to the Emerald Coast in 2003 and has been an actively involved community member ever since.

Dan has over 17 years of extensive experience and knowledge in the home and the association management industry.  Prior to founding VMG, he succeeded in roles such as the Senior Vice President and President for two competing association management firms in the area. He is currently also the principal owner of My Vacation Haven, a full-service vacation rental management company with more than 300 desired vacation rentals along the Emerald Coast.

Dan is a strong believer in the wellbeing of the next generation and nurturing his team and community. His approach of leading by example and being a servant leader served him well as the Past Chairman of the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation and the Seaside Neighborhood School. He has given his time and guidance to countless local organizations serving the community and children in need. His dedication to the community is a true passion, and he continues to inspire those around him to give back as well.

He and his wife, Stephanie, have two daughters, Hadley and Hayden.

Financial

VMG assists with your HOA’S role as a fiscal fiduciary, offering:

Property Management

VMG is dedicated to the physical maintenance of your neighborhood. Our Homeowner Association and Condominium Property Management services cover:

  • Property care, including major repairs and scheduled maintenance

  • Bid solicitation and presentation to the Board of Directors

  • Contract supervision and construction/maintenance progress reports

  • Review and processing of homeowner work orders

  • Emergency property response

  • Common area maintenance/cleaning/infrastructure repair
